Price: around 500,000 pesos ($9,600)

At their Manila wedding on May 25, 2003, Ruffa concealed her baby bump in a “European-inspired” wedding gown designed by Inno Sotto.

Georgina Wilson

Price: 774,345 pesos ($14,800)

Georgina Wilson married Arthur Burnand on April 30, 2016, in a Monique Lhuillier bridal gown from the designer’s Fall 2015 collection, The Elizabeth. Subtly deviating from the immaculate white wedding dress, Georgina’s intricately beaded gown in “tonal rose gold” cost about $14,800, a gift from Dr. Vicki Belo.

Heart Evangelista

Price: not less than 1,000,000 pesos ($19,200)

Heart Evangelista married senator Francis “Chiz” Escudero in Balesin Island Club on February 15, 2015. True to her sense of style, Heart encapsulated sophistication with her Grace Kelly-inspired wedding frock. Dubai-based Filipino designer Ezra took almost 6 months to complete the gown. The gown was embellished with “roughly more than 70,000 of different varieties and sizes of Swarovski elements”.

Marian Rivera

Price: 2,000,000 pesos ($38,400)

Marian’s Michael Cinco wedding dress allegedly cost about $38,400. Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera tied the knot on December 30, 2014, one of the highly anticipated celebrity weddings in the recent decade.

Dr. Vicki Belo

Price: between 2,500,000 and 3,000,000 pesos ($47,900-57,500)

Vicki wore a Michael Cinco blush-pink gown, fully-embroidered with baroque patterns and adorned with transparent rose opal Swarovski crystals. The gown also had a three-meter-long train made of French lace. In an Instagram post, the Dubai-based Filipino designer revealed that Vicki’s wedding gown “took 1,000 hours to finish with 50 skilled artisans”. According to M’oda ‘Operandi, which bills itself as “an online luxury fashion retailer”, Bumgarner gowns selling at the site go from $3,000 to $10,200, which translates to 153,000-521,000 pesos.

Vicki changed into a Monique Lhuillier blush-pink column gown for the program during the wedding reception.
