There is a certain standard for Korean weddings as to how much money to give the bride and groom. It’s not a 100% must, but people usually follow this rule. If you’re not very close to the couple (for instance, a colleague or distant relative), you’re to give $50. If you’re close friends or close relatives, you bring $100. Or if you’re financially well-off and want to help the couple with their expenses, you can give $200 and more.
