This is a place where the bride and groom sit during the wedding reception. The sweetheart table is meant only for the couple, only the two of them. The head table houses the couple and their bridal party – the Best Man and the Maid of Honor (sometimes with their +1). This table is always situated a bit separately from all other tables so that everyone could see the bride and groom.
