The most widespread and usual wedding table centerpieces are created from flowers. But if you don’t want to use florals or wish to have something special on your wedding reception tables, use lanterns or a combination of lanterns and flowers / lanterns and candles. Lanterns look romantic, create a homey and dreamy atmosphere, and add warmth and light to the venue. You can buy them a lot cheaper on flea markets. But remember that if the lanterns have lit candles inside, you need to think about fire safety. Some venues don’t allow to use open fire, so the lanterns have to be closed.
