A lot of people will tell you that your engagement should last no more than 1 year and then you have to get married. That’s not true. You and your honey decide when, where, and how you want to get married. Most couples plan their wedding for 1 year, give or take. But this doesn’t mean that you also have to do so. If you don’t have a big enough wedding budget yet or want to plan a huge wedding (which needs time and effort) or decide to wait for the end of the pandemic or have some other reasons, that’s totally fine. You don’t have to put yourself under any time limits.
