In Australia, there is a fun wedding tradition – the guests at a wedding are given small stones (they can be round sea stones or semi-precious stones or just pretty little stones). Every guest is to hold his/her stone during the whole ceremony. After the wedding ceremony is finished, people place their stones in a decorative bowl. The bride and groom keep this bowl with stones for years after the wedding, it reminds them about their friends and family and the day of the wedding. Romantic in its own way!
